OSHA Heat Safety Tool App Reviews

This app WOULD be a wonderful tool, but it never has the correct temperature. . I work outside all day, 6 days a week, so I was excited to see an app from OSHA about heat advisories. According to The Weather Channel, it is 82 in my city today, but this app claims it is only 44. Please fix this app

App was working now always shows wrong temp please fix

I experienced the same problem as other reviewers (actual temp is 90 degrees but app returned 67degrees), but manually entered in my local temp and humidity and received an appropriate risk level with great recommendations and helpful links when I clicked on precautions. This is a really good concept and is still a useful app (provided you can get the local temperature and humidity from a weather app and then manually enter them here). If they can get the local temp/humidity issue fixed, Ill rank as 4 or 5 stars.

It was 110 the other day here in Fresno, but the app showed that the local temp was only 44 degrees Fahrenheit! I wish it was in the 40s here. Its a good app when it works though.

I like the way the app presents preventive measures and first aid for the various heat injuries . Very informative once fix the problem. Just did update and when I hit get current it crashes.

Still not working. The update causes the app to crash when you get current.

My 64GB Apple iPhone 5s, running iOS v. 7.1.1 ALWAYS sees the app crash after I select "Get Current", for my local readings.

Tap get current or todays high and the app closes.

Seriously, how can you put out an App that doesnt even work. Would love to see this work. Concept is great if it would work...

Just downloaded this for work. Loads with nothing on the screen. Blank. Nada. More repairs are needed.

Opens blank and freezes when you try to get current. Fix it or take it out of the store.

Doesnt bring in current conditions, so it wont calculate anything. Useless...

Like the app, suggest allowing to enter temperature in Celsius as well as Fahrenheit. Lastly, allow people to send the heat stress info via email, imess, etc.

Outdoor auto mechanic in Phoenix. Im sure the app will get updates in the future. Good start with good info. I will recommend to new techs!

Previous version would pull weather forecast data and calculate the max danger for the day. Now it just pulls current temp and humidity. Thats fine if I want to know the danger right now. But my crews and I are already in it at that point, or its morning and theres no danger. If I want to give them warnings and tips to mitigate the hazard, I need the app to use the forecasted high and humidity so we can PLAN. It did it before, please do it again.

This seems to only give me current temp/location. I want to be able to prepare for tomorrow at a different job site. Not very helpful.

The old version calculated heat index and the current version doesnt. Horrible.
